I put up a journal asking what pony you guys wanted to see made into a boot logo next, and Twilight got the most votes! Here y'all are. Click "Download File" over on the right there to get it. Installation instructions are in the readme, as usual.
These take a long time to make! I had forgotten how long they took... I don't think I'll be doing any more for a while, but we'll see. Sorry to the other people that gave their input!
Here's a side note for the Boot Uploader program. I got the text on the bottom to be blank by using the blank character alt-code (Alt+255). If you leave one of the text boxes blank, the animation does not show up for some reason. So if you want one of the text fields to be empty, make sure you use Alt+255 on the numpad to make a blank character!
Ok then! No worries! Is there a guide on how to do it? Or, can you tell me in the most time preserving way for you? I looked up these things a while ago, and by a while, when there wasn't a hack for these yet.
If you could point me in the right direction, that would be amazing. :3
Download the zip I have here, and there should be a folder full of .png's. Basically, that's how it's done. You need a certain number of images, all 200x200px. The first x (can't remember how many) images play, and all the rest after that loop. The difficult part is getting the loop to work right.
Download Windows 7 Boot Updater, and that should help a bit, too. Load up one of my boot logo files and see if you can figure out how it works. If you need more help, just ask! I know this is kinda vague...
